The Pot Of Gold
I've been standing here for my next willing victim to walk past me. "Such a slow night!", I think to myself with utter exasperation. "Come on, gentlemen. The pot of gold has been waiting...", I mumble as I see you turn the corner, walking your way hurriedly against the thick of the night. You see me out of the corner of your eye. "That's it... You're it!", she thinks to herself as a smile forms at the corners of her mouth. You pause in place almost as if you had forgotten the use of your legs. I see your eyes following an unmarked trail down my body, taking in every curve so beautifully tucked behind a bodysuit that's sworn to hide nothing; the gentle frills on the cleavage and down by the hips adding an illusion of playfulness. You smiled back hesitatingly, wondering what someone as exquisite was doing standing in a dark, dingey alley.
