Guilty Pleasures
We all have that one song that takes us back to a time or a place that has stayed with us, locked away at the back of our minds. And sometimes, if you close your eyes and sit very very still, you'll feel like you did back when you first heard that song. "Baby, when the lights go out...", I remember hearing that crank over the radio while I lay in bed thinking about the boy next door. I remember closing my eyes and letting my fingers make magic. Decades later, hearing that song, still makes me think about that time. And as I sit here, in bare-nothings, feeling that fabric against my skin in the soft glow of the computer screen, I feel the need to bring up my Spotify and re-live the fireworks!
