Lose Yourself

 For a minute, as you watch her immersed in the music blaring over the speaker on the somewhat crowded subway, you find yourself drifting. There's something joyous and melancholic all at once about her as her slender waist navigates itself within the hula hoop. Her calmness so enticing that you forget about everything else in that moment. Her eyes are closed. She's dancing for herself.
